The TPR Portable Briefcase Recorder provides all the facilities
of a full size recorder and yet is easily carried in a standard
computer bag. Designed to conform to the demanding requirements
of the judicial system, law enforcement, government and private
agencies where portability is essential.
Capable of high voice intelligibility under adverse background
noise conditions this highly specialised portable recorder
provides continuous, reliable, fail-safe results.
For added security the recorder contains a microprocessor-controlled
module which samples the audio pattern and encodes information
on a separate, independent digital track while the audio is
recording. The encoder also records time, date and a unique
recorder identification number providing easily traceable
recorded tape cassette origin. The TPR Briefcase Recorder
can produce three tapes simultaneously. The critical sealed
master tape, a working copy used for transcription and a third
copy for the interviewed person. TPR software controlled system
can be readily upgraded to meet any special operational requirements,
through software and hardware modifications.
